Dr. Dirk Brandherm of Queen’s University Belfast invited members of the society up to Brusselstown Hillfort to observe ongoing excavations at Trench no. 6 on the afternoon of Sunday 10 May 2026. This time the weather was clear and provided our group with panoramic views. Our thanks to Dirk and his team for taking the time to share further information about their work on this most ancient of landscapes.
